Twilla

Funeral services for Ms. Jo Neal Twilla, 87, of Smithville were held August 7 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Green officiated with burial following in the Town Cemetery.

She passed away August 5 at the Webb House.

She was a homemaker and attended the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. JK Twilla; parents, Henry Arthur and Nannie West Harvill; grandparents, James Forrest and Henriette Adcock West; seven aunts, Della Mae Stewart, Lilly Macon West, Ida Cleophie Wheat, Jessie Wright, Eula Deane Jones, Abolene Lewis and Naomi West Turner; two uncles, James and Forrest West.

She is survived by two sons, John Twilla of Murfreesboro and Cindy Twilla of Smithville and Neil and Wife Desta Averitt Twilla of Auburntown; two grandchildren, Kevin McKinley and wife Desirae Twilla of Lebanon and Kelli and husband Jared Davis of Smithville; one great granddaughter, Kimber Ray Davis of Smithville.
