Tyler Williams

Tyler Nathaniel Williams, age 17, of Smithville passed away Sunday morning, March 13, 2022, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville. 

 He was born September 17, 2004. He attended Refuge Church and was an 11th grade student at DeKalb County High School.

 He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, J. B. Williams.

 He is survived by father, Kent Williams of Smithville; siblings, Jim (Whitney) Williams of Murfreesboro, Amy Williams of Lebanon, Delena Cantrell of Portland, Oregon, and Kayla and Haley of McMinnville; paternal grandmother and grandfather, Jo and Jess Baker of Smithville; several, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins; devoted friend, Josh Grisham. 

 Funeral service was held Thursday, March 17, 2022, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jimbo Eddins officiating with burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers included Ryan Mollinet, Wil Deaver, Corey Williams, Grayson Mollinet, McCartney Williams, Hayden Williams, Josh Grisham, and Dexton Mollinet. Fox Judd served as an honorary pallbearer.

 The family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. 


DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
