There may be others like me who have been unaware that persons over the age of 60 are eligible to vote by absentee ballot!  An application for an absentee ballot can be requested from the DeKalb County Election Commission or it can be printed from the website: https://www.dekalbelections.com/requesting-ballot/

There are several other categories which also allow persons to vote by absentee ballot.

We are now within the 90-day window for voting absentee in the Thursday, August 6, 2020, County General, State primaries, and Local Municipal Elections.

A registered voter may request an application for by-mail ballot no earlier than ninety (90) days before the election and no later than seven (7) days before the election. To be processed for the next election, the application must be received by the election commission no later than seven (7) days before the election.

We can make our opinions count by voting!
