12U and 9U Machine Pitch ends season

The 12U and 9U Machine Pitch League would down their seasons last week, with a few more games.

 

On June 28, the Four Seasons Boat Storage Sharks took on the J&S Construction Crushers in 12U action.

 

For the Sharks, Kennedy Agee, Emme Colwell, Leslie Hembree, Joni Robinson, Kessie Robinson, and Megan Walker each got one run. Colwell, Robinson, Walker, and Savannah White each had a double in the game.

 

Kaitlyn Cantrell and Katie Colwell each had one run for the Crushers. Cantrell had a double.

 

The Sharks took the 6-2 win.

 

On June 23, the DTC Diamonds played 204 Fitness Center Buchanan in 9U play.

 

Aniston Farler, Bella France, Shayla Kirby, and Kennedy Polk each had two runs for the Diamonds, while Aly Griffith, Cadee Griffith, Madison Martin, and Morgan Walker each had three. Farler, France, Griffith, Griffth, Kirby, Martin, Polk, Taylor, and Walker each had a double, while France, Griffith, Griffith, Kirby, Martin, and Walker each had a triple. Walker also had a homerun.

 

For Buchanan, Addison Warren had the team’s one and only run. Kendall Buchanan and Kaitlyn Trusty each had a double, while Warren had a triple.

 

DTC got the 20-1 victory.

 

Headlines Razors faced off with Guaranty Trust Tunks that same day.

 

For the Razors, Lacey England, Jacey Hatfield, Courtney London, Xharia Lyons, Gracie Randolph, Mackenzie Sprague, and Caley Taylor each had one run. Hatfield and Alyssa Pugh each had a double in the game, while Sprague had a triple.

 

Angelina Dodd had one run for Tunks, while Alie Tunks had two. Hennessy Beaty and Chloe Posten each had a double, while Tunks had two.

 

The Razors got the win, 7-3.

 

The Good Health Flatliners took on Wilson Bank and Trust Birdwell that day, with Birdwell coming out on top.

 

Mackenzie Brindley, Kyleigh Hill, and Sierra Sobotka each had one run for the Flatliners, while Jailyn King had two. Hill had a triple, while King had a homerun.

 

For Birdwell, Hannah Eaton and Allison Waters each had one run, while Hailey Birdwell, Gala Holbrook, Destiny Shackle, Kaylee Vanstorch, and Alyssa White each had two.

 

Birdwell took the 13-6 victory.

 

On June 26, the Razors were back on the field, this time against the Flatliners.

 

For the Razors, Lacey England, Jacey Hatfield, Alyssa Pugh, Caley Taylor, Shelby West, and Briar Williams each had one run, while Courtney London, Gracie Randolph, and Mackenzie Sprague each had two. London, Pugh, Sprague, and West each had a double, while Randolph and Sprague each had a triple.

 

Kyleigh Hill and Jailyn King each had one run for the Flatliners, while Elizabeth Reed and Tori Summer each had two. King, Reed, and Summers each had a double, while Reed had a triple. Hill had a homerun.

 

The Razors won, 12-6.

 

On June 27, the Flatliners were again on the field, this time against the Johnson Logging Sawdusters.

 

Sierra Sobatka got one runner for the Flatliners, while Jailyn King got two, including a homerun.

 

For the Sawdusters, Madison Dawson, Emma Johnson, Katherine Knowles, Layla Walker, and Brianna Winkler each had one run, while Briahna Murphy had two. Winkler had a double, while Johnson and Murphy had a triple. Murphy and Walker also had a homerun.

 

The Sawdusters got the win, 7-3.
