DeKalb County High School pitcher Hunter Jennings was named Pitcher of the Year for District 8AA. He joined five other Tigers in making the all-district team. His accomplishments during the season and postseason and his being named the top pitcher in his district make him the Athlete of the Week. All winners of the honor can come by the Smithville Review during regular business hours and pick up a complimentary limited edition shirt celebrating their being named athlete of the week.
