Beginners Invited to Learn How to Fish

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Wildlife Federation <http://tnwf.org>, one of the largest and oldest nonprofits dedicated to conserving our state’s wildlife and natural resources, invites DeKalb residents to learn how to fish at Edgar Evins State Park.

The Federation’s Hunting and Fishing Academy <https://tnwf.org/hunting-and-fishing-academy/>  program provides engaging, hands-on instruction in the art of being an outdoorsman through multi-day, immersive experiences.

Participants are mentored by local guides and volunteer Hunt Masters <https://tnwf.org/hunt-master-training/> , who are highly-trained, sportsmen and women along with Federation staff. Rods, reels, bait, and bottled water will be provided.

Participants must have a valid fishing license in order to participate.
