DeKalb County’s Ally Beneke won the girls state high jump with a season high jump of 5’8”.  Back to back state champ!  That was on her last jump and she was the only one to clear that distance, a season and personal record for her.  There was six of them left at that height.  Ella VanVranken also placed 9th in the 800 meters. 

Team Coach Jeremy Wilhelm said it was a good season for the Warren/DeKalb team.  DeKalb County High School currently coops with Warren County for their Track and Field sports, combining participants from both schools in competitions.
