The Junior Pro Basketball Big Boys Division has been underway, with a flurry of games being played over the past few weeks. The games have seen some high scores with some players standing out among the rest.
On Feb. 15, Bates Apparel ran away with a game with H&R Block, taking a 48-4 victory.
For H&R Block, Paxton Banks and Wil Deaver each had two points.
Brayden Howard scored 16 points for Bates, while Ethan Cantrell came away with 12. Aiden Patterson had 10 points, while Samuel Claiborne and Hunter Fann each had four. Josh carlton came away with two points.
That same day, Creative Style took a high-scoring game against Southern Landscape Supply, 50-27.
For Southern Landscape, Jaden Young scored 11 points, while Hayden Thomas and Jordan Young each had five. C.J. Beringer scored three, Luke Oliver one, and Isaac Robinson two.
Omar Aldino and Isaac Walker each had 14 points for Creative Styles, while Dosson Medlin had 11. Noah Martin got five points, Nick May four, and Noah Morris two.
Ramsey Ruckus took a win over Glenda Davis, CPA, 45-32.
Derek Young came away with 19 points for Ramsey Ruckus, while Michael Elswick and Isaac Smith each had 11. Ethan Jenkins and Luke Jenkins each scored two.
For Glenda Davis, John Maynard scored 20 points, with Conner Vaughn taking 11. Ealy Gassaway had two points.
Later, Bates Apparel came away with another big win, this time over Southern Landscape, 40-14.
For Bates, Hunter Fann scored 13, Brayden Howard got 12, and Josh Carlton had 10. Ethan Cantrell got four points, while Samuel Claiborne and Aiden Patterson each had two.
C.J. Beringer scored four points for Southern Landscape, while Hayden Thomas and Jaden Yound each got three. Marquis Bass scored two, while Luke Oliver and Jordan Young each had one.
Glenda Davis, CPA, had a win over H&R Block, 35-18.
For H&R Block, Isaac Cross scored six points, while Wil Deaver, Dillion Knowles, and Jackub Osment each had four.
Glenda Davis’ John Maynard scored 27 points, while Christopher Allen and Ealy Gassaway each came away with two. Parker Gassaway scored one, and Conner Vaughn has three.
Creative Styles inched by Ramsey Ruckus for a close 27-25 win.
For Ramsey Ruckus, Isaac Smith scored 10 points, Derek Young nine, and Michael Elswick six.
Dosson Medlin scored 11 points for Creative Styles, while Omar Aldino had eight. Noah Martin scored five, and Isaac Walker three.
Games played in previous weeks also saw some high scores. On Jan. 25, Bates Apparel took a big win over H&R Block, 45-13, while Creative Styles had a victory over Southern Landscape Supply, 30-29.
Glenda Davis, CPA and Ramsey Ruckus had a close game, with Glenda Davis taking the victory, 28-21, while Bates Apparel had a big win over Creative Styles, 22-12.
Ramsey Ruckus got a win over H&R Block, 28-13, then Southern Landscape & Supply won a squeaker over Glenda Davis, CPA, 35-33.
On Feb 1, Creative Styles beat Glenda Davis, CPA, 44-17, while Bates Apparel won over Ramsey Ruckus, 37-19. Southern Landscape & Supply took a victory over H&R Block, 43-13.
On Feb. 8, Bates Apparel won over Creative Styles, 27-14, while Ramsey Ruckus beat H&R Block, 23-8.
Glenda Davis, CPA won a close one over Southern Landscape & Supply, 40-38, then
Creative Styles had a big win over H&R Block, 41-7.
Glenda Davis, CPA then played Bates Apparel and lost, 30-21, while Ramsey Ruckus took a win over Southern Landscape & Supply, 45-25.
