The DeKalb Senior League manages to get one game in last week, with the night’s regularly scheduled doubleheader being cut short due to thunderstorms in the area.

On July 8, DeKalb Blue battled DeKalb Orange, with a big win coming for the boys in blue.

Blue took the lead in the first inning, with Austin Johnson and Logan Cornelius each touching home plate. John Maynard scored Orange’s one and only run of the inning.

Orange pulled ahead in the second inning, with Colter Norris and Noah Gill each coming in with runs, but Blue sealed the win in the third with Johnson, Isaac Hall, Andrew Cornelius, Tanner Poss, James Cheichi, and Derek Young each getting a run.

Blue took the win, 8-3.
