The Bulldogs bit down on the Redcoats with a 14-4 lead by the end of the first period of the game, and outscored Union Heights 8-4 in the second, giving DWS a 22-8 lead at halftime. The Bulldogs maintained a 35-19 lead at the end of the third, and went on to win the game 43-30.

T.J. Alexander led the Bulldog offense with 12 points. Lucas Hale put up nine points for DWS, and Levi scored seven. Garrett Hayes and Brayden Antoniak placed four points each, Jathan Willoughby scored three, and Nathaniel Crook rounded out the West School scorecard with two points.

The Lady Bulldogs led a physical first period 5-2, and maintained an 8-6 lead at the half, despite the Lady Redcoats outscoring them 4-3 an even rougher second period. The fight continued in the second half of the game, but after DWS came out on top of a 6-4 fracas in the third period the Lady Redcoats lost steam, allowing DeKalb to score 13 unanswered points in the final period of play. The West School ladies won the game 27-10.

Lydia Davenport led the Lady Bulldog offensive effort with nine points. Gracie Griffin and Summer Crook followed closely with seven points each, while Emma Damron and Aniston Farler added two each.
