Cowboys open DeKalb Fair

There were some mean bulls at the DeKalb County Fair, including this jumping mass of meat.

The DeKalb County Fair opened with a rodeo event on the first night, with several local riders taking part. A large crowd was on hand, checking out the cowboys and cowgirls, as well as some of the fine animals that participated.

 

In the Tie Down Roping event, Clark Adcock came out on top, while Nikia Vensel won the Break Away event.

 

In Team Roping, Chris Stubblefield got first place, while Chris Chandler took second. Clark Adcock was the healer for both men. Wade Montooth, with Glen Crawford as healer, took third place, while Chris Chandler and Mike Edmiston was fourth.

 

In the Barrels event, Darcia Horne took first place, while Heather Willard was second. Jennifer Dunn came in third.

 

Victor Roller won the Bull Riding event.
