The DCHS Tigerettes added a shutout win Tuesday, defeating Cannon County 3-0 at VanHooser Field.
It was a second-half victory for DeKalb, which was knotted at 0 at the break, with three close consecutive scores in the final half.
DeKalb’s Sarette Aranda started the drive off with a goal five minutes into the second half and Anna Rachel Blair made it 2-0 two minutes later by beating Cannon County’s keeper with an assist by Faith Judkins.
Taylor Foutch gave the Tigerettes a 3-0 lead at the 50-minute mark with an assist by Robin Pafford.
DeKalb’s goalie Meghan Brandt kept the Tigerettes on top by making 15 saves in the contest.
