The DeKalb County High School Tigers soccer team came away with a couple of wins last week, as they played a series against the Livingston Wildcats.

On Thursday, April 28, the Tigers were on the road as the faced the Wildcats in the first game of the series. It would be a battle with the Tigers coming out on top in double overtime.

The game would remain scoreless through regulation and Miguel Mata would put DeKalb on top five minutes in double overtime, with an assist by Yair Mata. The Tigers claimed the 1-0 win.

Conner Vance had eight saves in the game.

The following day, the Tigers were on their home field as they hosted Livingston. Once again it would be a fight on the field and again the game would go into double overtime.

Axel Aranda hit the net for the Tigers 26 minutes into play, with an assist by Yair Mata.

The Wildcats would get on the board in the second half, tying the game at one before regulation ended.

The teams would go into double overtime before Miguel Mata hit the deciding goal at the eight minute mark. DeKalb would claim the 2-1 victory.

Goalie Vance would come away with 12 saves in the game.
