The DeKalb County Saints football team, cheerleaders and managers joined the 2024 DMS Homecoming Court for a photo before the game against Macon County.

While the DCHS Tigers have yet to play their season opener, the DeKalb Middle School Saints football team was already celebrating Homecoming, with a ceremony last Thursday before the Saints’ game against the Macon County Tigers. Cheerleaders, managers, and players were recognized before the 2024 Homecoming Court was presented.

This year there were two honorary attendants, Carragan Cox, the six-year-old daughter of Brandon and Whitney Cox, and Emberly O’Conner, the three-year-old daughter of Mikey and Courtney O’Conner. Both girls helped direct the festivities and handed out flowers during the ceremony.

For the Homecoming Court, the 7th grade attendant of the DeKalb West School was Hailey Brown. She is the daughter of Brad and Cassi Brown, and was escorted by Conner Nash and Chaz Westerman.

The 7th grade attendant of DeKalb Middle School was Ella Taylor. She is the daughter of Chad Taylor and granddaughter of Ronnie Taylor. She was escorted by Zander Simpson and Braxton Bain.

Destiny Guinn was also a 7th grade attendant of DeKalb Middle School. She is the daughter of Rick and Kendra Guinn, and was escorted by Hayden Quarles and Grant Slager.

Ezzalee Moore was the 8th grade attendant of DeKalb West School. She is the daughter of Andrew and Allie Moore and was escorted by Levi Cripps and Pasha Hennessee.

The 8th grade attendant of DeKalb Middle School was Reagan Williams. She is the daughter of Sarah Williams and Brian and Stephanie Williams. She was escorted by Collin Donnell and Rylan Thomas.

Ella Kirksey was also an 8th grade attendant for DeKalb Middle School. She is the daughter of Graden and Sabrina Kirksey, and was escorted by Gavin Frazier and Jayden Gutierrez.

The 2024 DeKalb County Saints Homecoming Queen was Kenli Fish, the daughter of Tiffany Pedigo and Cody Fish. She was escorted by Bryson Redmon and Reed Midgett.

Others recognized during the ceremony were Saints cheerleaders Caitlyn Adcock, Charley Prichard, Molly Sutton, Addison Curtis, Cora Cox, Callen Tramel, Baylei Benson, Caroline Farmer, Presley Harrington, Lillie Williams, and Lakelyn Nelson, and managers Lyra McMinn, Lydia Wright, McKenzie Redmon, Lydia Slager, and Kenna Denton.
