The DeKalb Junior Pro Football Program held an awards banquet last Friday evening, recognizing some of its top players. For the Senior boys that Most Improved award went to Jonah Lester, while Defensive Player went to Carlos Garcia. The Offensive Player award went to Jackson Longmire, while the MVP was presented to Zayden Hernandez.
For the Juniors, Most Improved went to Uriah Pettit, with the Defensive Player going to Levi Allen. The Offensive Player went to Kayden Hunt, while the MVP was awarded to Carson Wooden.
Pee Wees were also honored at the ceremony, as well as each team’s cheerleaders.
