Saints, Lady Saints honored

The DeKalb County Middle School Saints and Lady Saints held their seasons-end banquet on Feb. 24. Kadee Ferrell, Isaac Knowles and Monica Carlton took home the Most Valuable Player awards, while a host of other teammates were also recognizes.

For the Lady Saints, Kennedy Agee took home the Best Offensive Player ward, while Mallori Hart received the Best Defensive Player award.

Megan Cantrell was honored with the Most Improved and Best Attitude awards.

Most Improved and Best Rebounder went to Leah Davis.

Katie Colwell received the Best 6th Man award, and Hannah Willingham was chosen for the Hardest Worker award.

For the Saints, Isaac Knowles, in addition to MVP, received the Best Defensive Player award.

Matt Sweeney took home the Best Ball Handler award, while Luke Jenkins was awarded the Best Offensive Player award.

Best Rebounder went to Aidan Curtis, and Jacob Johnson and JJ Pack received awards for Most Improved.

Cheerleading awards went to Talon Billings for Best Jumps; Kyleigh Hill for Most Improved; Haidyn Hale for Most Spirit; and Alexis Atnip received the Leadership Award.
