Seven DeKalb County High School basketball players were named last week with All-District honors. The announcement was made last Monday, including Tiger and Lady Tiger players.

Tiger Conner Close was named to the First Team All-District, while Robert Wheeler was selected to the Third Team All-District. Teammate Elisha Ramos received Honorable Mention. Alex Antoniak made the District’s All-Defensive Team and Jon Hendrix was named to the All-District Freshman Team.

For the Lady Tigers, Ella VanVranken was named Second Team All-District as well as the District’s All-Defensive Team. Her sister Chloe VanVranken made the District’s All-Freshman Team.
