Tigers hold on against Hog-Eye

The DeKalb Tiger Soccer team welcomed the Livingston Academy Wildcats to Smithville for an important district matchup. The Tigers prevailed in a nailbiter, with the final score 2-1.

 

 

 

In the first half, Brady Gill (18) drew first blood by scoring the only goal in the half.

 

 

 

In the second half, Livingston Academy scored early, but Cesar Coronilla (10) scored the final goal of the game to put the Tigers on top.

 

 

 

Goalie Jose Torres had eight saves in the game.

 


The Tigers improve to 5-3 on the season and pick up an important district win, which puts them in second place in the district with a record of 3-0.
