Man airlifted after bike crash
bike wreck W

Troy Walker of Livingston, 46, was airlifted after a mishap Sunday while he was riding this 2005 Harley-Davidson. The story began when Walker apparently lost his passenger, a male, on Highway 70 near Adcock Cemetery Road without noticing that he had fallen off. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Walker then traveled to the west end of Sligo Bridge, where he lost control of the bike and crashed, striking a concrete barrier and severely injuring his arm on a road sign. Walker came off the Harley in the roadway, and the bike continued several hundred feet through the construction zone at the bridge before coming to rest when it wedged itself between a parked Jeep Cherokee and a rock outcropping. While his passenger was not severely injured, charges were said to be pending against Walker, who is suspected of driving while intoxicated.
